The artists are Irene Wanjiru, a sculptor popular for her utility forms such as shelves, Sam Njuguna, Willie Wamuti, Robert Njoroge and Nick Muthee all painters of varying genres.
The paintings and sculptures give an intimate look into the basic design elements that surround the artist’s life. Scenes of home environment, animals, song, dance, and life passages such as birth and love stand out clearly. This, combined with the different artist’s brush technique, colour mixing, forms and textures create a steady flow of creative proficiency.
