TO MARIE WITH LOVE
The wonderful Millicent Ogutu gets back on stage after a brief hiatus in her first ever one woman show, the witty, controversial “To Marie With Love” by Pauline Devaney. The play is about the life and times of Marie Stopes, campaigner for women’s rights and pioneer in the field of birth control. It explores the intricacies of sexual and reproductive health through the ages as Marie’s own personal journey in an emotionally rich, personal,
humorous fashion.
This is also June Gachui’s directorial debut. To Marie With Love is proudly supported by Marie Stopes Kenya and The NEST Arts Company.
