The setting is a Beach Hotel. Shanzu Beach Hotel – on the Kenyan Coast!
A motley collection of Restaurant Waiters have just reported to the Hotel on the opening of the high season.
The play takes us to the back-areas where hotel guests never go! The back-stabbing, the desperate yearning to get ‘hooked up’ to a tourist…add to this a Manager whose desperation is more frantic than his staff!
This ridiculously hilarious piece is directed by George Mungai and performed by a cast of five: Andrew Muthure [last seen in Lucky People] as the cunning, crafty and suave Ringo, Kevin Amwoma [last on stage as Mercutio in Romeo] as Joe, Brian Alufwani [Benvolio] as green, inexperienced, naïve Cyril, Margaret Karanja as Asha and Kevin Nzevela as O’keefe.
