Lino and Wood Cut Workshop ** (30th June – 3rd July)
Become familiar with the history and art of lino and wood cuts. This will enable participants gather experience with the medium and make small editions without a printing press. Applicable to both beginners and advanced levels – with Mathias Muehle

Art Workshop (11th – 14th July)
Focuses on improving the artist’s skills rather than finished work. It involves a critic session and practical application of the different approaches to an artist’s work – with Anthony Okello

Photoshop Workshop (12th -15th July)
Providing the basic yet essential topics required when working with Photoshop such as the tool box, palettes, layers, file types recognized by Photoshop, resolution and size, and color balance – with Dennis Maingi

Discussion on Art, Space & Presentation (15th July)
A summary of discourses that have been taking place within the context of contemporary art from Africa in the last 5-10 years – with Jimmy Ogonga
Introduction to kiln formed glass (slumping and fusing) (16th -17th July)
Basic intro to the technique of making or using existing molds, melting recycled and window glass in a kiln and experimenting with materials that can be included in the process.  All Artists will make at least 2 small pieces – with Danda Jaroljmek

Sculpting (Finishing) (18th – 21st July)
A thematic process specializing in relief by exploring human figures which are semi-abstract. Handling of tools, concept or theme and process – with Mosoti Kepha

Figure drawing and painting Workshop (19th – 21st July)
Quick drawings, movement, reverse drawing, long poses for painting on canvas – with Patrick Mukabi
Business of Art Workshop (21st – 22nd July)
